Southern Belle Vacation Rentals is owned and operated by Summer and Walt Freeman. Summer has a natural passion for taking care of others and problem solving. Summer’s background is in hospital patient relations. Walt has expertise in hotel management, website design, customer relations, sales, and attention to detail. Summer and Walt have combined their skills and grown Southern Belle into a thriving rental business. Southern Belle Rentals provides great service, desirable homes, and an overall great “can do” attitude to guests and homeowners.

Summer Roberson
A native of the low country, Summer has a great appreciation for the coastal empire. She spent summers visiting Savannah with her family where she learned to appreciate the historical beauty, architectural details, and the value of spending precious time with family and friends. While working within the philanthropic sector for the past seven years, she has developed proven experience in building positive and meaningful relationships with clients. The most important quality she brings to Southern Belle Vacations Rentals is her passion for the community and a client focused mindset. A Master’s graduate from St. Mary University of Minnesota in Philanthropy and Development indicates her commitment to helping develop meaningful relationships. Summer understands the thought and care which goes into creating meaningful experiences and is an expert in customer service and making certain your vacation is all you had hoped for! Summer enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, bike riding, and volunteering for nonprofit organizations.
Walt Freeman
Born and raised in Georgia with a passion for water related activities, Walt Freeman specializes in vacation rental sales and management. Always having an eye on the future, Walt’s skill set focuses on sales, internet marketing, website and print media design. His determination and willingness to do anything in his power to make things work for the customer has allowed him to build and maintain a thriving vacation rental company with happy homeowners and guests. Walt believes that his ability to “wear many hats” has helped him meet and exceed the expectations of his clients. His hobbies include wakeboarding, enjoying fine food, snowboarding, kiteboarding and watching sunsets with his wife, Summer, and their dog, Mason. Having grown up in the south, Walt has a positive view for the future of the city of Savannah. He believes that the South Coast area is the perfect place to vacation, buy a home, and live.
Candace Perry Reservation Specialist
An Armstrong Atlantic State University graduate, Candace Perry has been in Savannah, Georgia, for the last four years and now calls the historic city home. Her diverse background includes photography and over 10 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, and web & print design. She is responsible for booking properties and providing customer service to vacationers. In her free time, Candace enjoys walks at Forsyth Park with her dog Zoe, great food, and attending art, theater, dance, & fashion events throughout the city.
