Orleans Square

One of our cozier Savannah vacation rentals with a great location overlooking Orleans Square, is a garden level property with the same name. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom and can sleep a total of four guests. Some of the fantastic amenities include private parking, a landscaped courtyard, a king size bed in one of the bedrooms, TVs throughout the home, dishwasher, and a recently remodeled interior. The other bedroom has two twin size beds. This setup makes it one of our ideal vacation homes Savannah GA for a small family, as the kids can share the twin room. The location is on the corner of West Perry and Barnard Streets and directly overlooks Orleans Square, which is one of Savannah's 22 historic squares and likely to be on your itinerary.

All of our Savannah Georgia vacation homes are thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and furnished. This Orleans Square property is no exception and you'll walk into a handsomely nostalgic scene with dark wood accents, wood floor and exposed beams. The front room is comfortably appointed with lots of seating and a large flatscreen. The dining room offers wonderful ambiance with a table for four in a warmly lit room. The kitchen is a full kitchen with all necessary appliances and lots of room to work. The bedrooms include comfy beds, lamps and TVs. All linens and other necessities are included for bedrooms and bathrooms. As previously mentioned, the house looks directly out onto Orleans Square, so you can see it as well as walk to it.

Since our Savannah vacation rentals put you in such prime locations, most of the time all you have to do is walk out your door to find something you'll want to see. With this one, Orleans Square is extremely close and near the Harper Fowlkes House and Savannah Civic Center. A short distance to the east and you'll find another square in Chippewa Square, and just south will bring you to Pulaski Square.

Just north of this property are sites such as Oglethorpe House, the Telfair Museums, Jepson Center for the Arts and the Museum Store for both. Walking is one of the best ways to get around Savannah, but you can also use the Old Town Trolley Tour and Chatham Area Transit in the historic downtown.

This was a wonderful property, and Southern Belle was a great host company to work with.Things I liked/Pros:- Southern Belle: excellent communication, immediate reply via text, happy and helpful hosts.- Property: our own parking space; clean - not shabby and smelly; comfortable rooms with space to spread out; stocked with clean dishes, glasses, cups, pots & pans, cooking utensils, etc; full size fridge and stove/oven for days when we didn't want to eat out; amazing location - walkable to everywhere! Across street from a quiet and beautiful square with fountain and benches to sit and rest. One block from two great spots for morning coffee and treats (Savannah Coffee Roasters and Franklins).Cons: I couldn't find the switch for the garbage disposal (it's in a lower cabinet). Mirror in bathroom is too high. Seriously, those are the only cons.

We loved our stay at Orleans Square. It was just the right size for my husband, daughter, and me. The furnishings were very comfortable and everything was spotless. The location is great, too. So easy to walk to River Street, Broughton Street, restaurants, and historic sites. Also very convenient access to nearby highways for our day trips outside of Savannah.

This is a lovely garden level apartment in the heart of the historic district. Recently remodeled with modern finishes. Nice living room area with 2 large bedrooms. Clean modern bathroom. I loved staying here and would come back again. Note the pool is out on an island, so if you stay in the summer it would be a great day trip from the city.

The first floor apartment was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. The accommodations are right on Orleans Square and have a cottage-like feel to them. The decorations are minimal and tasteful. The bathroom was much larger than expected. The building is close to the convention center and a couple of blocks from the first stop of most of the trolley routes. We were able to walk from River Street to the unit in about 10 minutes. Would recommend this property to others.

Orleans Square is the perfect location. It is an easy walk to everything you might want to see in Savannah. We enjoyed every day we were there including the days it came a heavy downpour. Even with the rain it was a delightful and wonderful dream trip fulfilled for me and my sister!

My friends and I really enjoyed our visit to Savannah. The Orleans Square unit exceeded our expectation. It was very clean and the location was perfect. We had no issues with our stay at Orleans Square. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect size for 4 people. The location was perfect as we were able to walk just about everywhere we needed to go. We also appreciated that there was a designated parking space. We did use the included pool access one of the days, it is very nice, clean, and new, but it was a drive to get to and parking there was a challenge. If you want the true experience of staying in a historic home in the historic district, this property is great choice.

We enjoyed our stay at Orleans Square. The location was excellent, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go and only needed our car to travel to Hilton Head & Tybee. We enjoyed spending evenings in the square as it was a nice, quiet location and just a short walk to Pulaski Sq, Chatham Sq, and Forsyth Park. Overall, the unit was comfortable and clean, we had no maintenance issues. Something to note is that beach towels are not provided so you will have to bring those if you plan on going to the beach or using the pool on Tybee. We plan to book with Southern Belle again for our next upcoming visit to Savannah.

The photos matched the apartment. We had great space to spread out and relax. Linens were excellent and kitchen supplies were just what we required. The location was perfect. We parked the car in our provided spot and walked everywhere! We could do the Telfair Museum and lunch on the river easily. Great food at many restaurants in walking distance. Would stay here again. Southern Belles was available if needed and proactive with check in messages.

This place was perfect for our vacation!! It is in a great location! We could walk everywhere within minutes! The place had plenty of room for a family of 4. We were there a week and used the kitchen and played games in the living area! Couldn’t have asked for a better place! When we go back to Savannah we will definitely book here again!!!

Orleans Square was perfect for our stay! The location was great; walking distance to everything we were interested in including Forsyth Park and all of the Historic District and Riverfront. The cleanliness of the unit was impressive! It was also very nice to have an off street parking place where we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot, street sweepers, etc. We will definitely try to rent this one again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property (Orleans Square on Barnard St). The location was great; we were able to walk just about everywhere (even in the rain). The 2 bedroom was a nice size; very large shower and nice bathroom. Comfortable king sized bed. As I saw in the reviews, it could be a little noisy from time to time (with the law office above, and being across from the park/people walking by), but we managed to sleep just fine. Having a covered parking spot was a plus, as many rentals require you to find a spot on the street. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again. The information on email stated "Garbage pick up is on Tuesday". We thought we'd be helpful and put our garbage in the containers near the parking spot and moved the full garbage can to the edge of the garage for pick-up, but the garbage was never picked up that day. Sorry.

This is a great location in the historic district, near museums, SCAD, shops and restaurants just an easy 12 minute walk to the river. We parked our car upon arrival and didn't move it until we were heading out of town. This is a very walkable property.

Property was exactly as advertised! Property was in a prime location. Walkable to many areas. We took an Uber from the airport. The DOT shuttle is complimentary. We utilized it to move quickly throughout the city. The apt was very clean and included everything we needed for an extended weekend.

Overall, we loved the property....was perfect for us and was quite lovely, with an excellent location. Parking spot was a real plus. The only negatives that we experienced was on our first day, we saw a very large roach in the kitchen (the size larger than a quarter). It was a little disturbing to me since I was afraid there could be more and I was constantly watching during our stay. I also picked up all my belongings from the floor just in case there were more....did not want to carry any home. I was quite shocking since the property was extremely neat and clean....perhaps a pest control company could remedy a future showing of roaches. We were surprised that there was no toaster for morning toast, which is a common thing that most people enjoy during their stay in a home....we had to use the oven every morning. A toaster is a $20 investment for the property and should be provided. The only other thing was that the mirror in the bathroom was positioned so high, it was impossible for me to use it for makeup and hair every day. I think this must be a problem for most women unless they are 6' tall. Other than that, we really did love the house. These are things that could very easily be corrected by the owner or the management team. Thank you!
