The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and all the cookware and utensils you could want. The dining room is a formal yet comfortably furnished room great for seating large groups of families and friends. Attached to the spacious dining area is a large gathering family room with two relaxed leather couches and two cozy leather chairs. The main house is furnished with Persian rugs, antique furniture, and modern amenities.

The living space makes for a great theatre room. On the main level there is a fourth guest bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, classy chaise lounge, 50 inch flat screen television, Persian carpets and original oil paintings.
Through the kitchen entrance is your own private courtyard featuring a garden and patio fringed by flowerbeds and comfortable patio furniture. A rear spacious covered deck overlooks a meticulously designed courtyard. This courtyard is absolutely magical with dancing lights and flowing fountain.

Upstairs accommodations include 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The master bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed and 55 inch flat screen television with ample sunlight and easy to open windows to enjoy sunny Savannah afternoons. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed as well as a twin bed for extra lounging space. The large windows make for a wonderful reading area. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed and a 36 inch flat screen television. The oversized mahogany windows are easy to open for a wonderful Southern breeze blowing through the screens. There is a fully remodeled Carerra marble bath with a large soaking tub that will melt your cares away. There is generous storage space in all the bedrooms with Persian carpets resting on the floors. All bedrooms look out over a beautiful landscaped lawn with Magnolia and Live Oak Trees.

This is a historic home and is noted in historic record books as such. Built in 1882, this home has had only a few owners over the years and all have loved and kept this home in beautifully maintained condition. It is set back from the street behind a brick and ironwork fence on an acre. The property is beautifully landscaped with Mondo grass and ivy covered exterior walls accented with Cherokee roses, also known as the Georgia State flower. Our vacation rental is in an ideal location on a beautiful wide street with 150 year old Oak trees in the heart of the Historic District.

Amenities include: 60 High Definition Channels including all premium channels and five large flat screen televisions, stereo, high speed internet access, wireless throughout the house as well as hard wire plug-ins. There are two zone central heat and air systems for year round comfort and all kitchen essentials.

From your home base on Huntingdon Street, you are an easy walk to downtown Savannah, festival venues, museums, shopping, many excellent restaurants, and the fine historic homes surrounding it. Within a twenty minute drive are white sandy ocean beaches, back river kayaking, golf courses and outlet mall shopping. In the event of any special health needs, there are three modern medical centers with state of the art medical equipment. Downtown Savannah is 20 minutes from Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport. A private taxi to your door costs approximately $20-25 or airport shuttles will also give door-to-door service for $10 per person. We are a four hour drive from Atlanta, two hours from Charleston, and one hour from Beaufort or Hilton Head.

Renting homes from Southern Belle is painless and professional. We take credit cards and require a $500.00 deposit to confirm the booking which is applied towards the remaining balance. For example, if your total is $1,500, we will take a $500 deposit and your remaining balance will be $1000. Thirty days prior to your arrival our booking software will charge the balance automatically. We also sell Traveler's Insurance which covers medical, hotels if you get stuck in a city, or trip cancellation for any reason.
