It has the ability to sleep a total of four guests.
Southern Belle offers some of the best amenities in Savannah vacation homes, and this one is definitely not an exception. Bedroom one in this property offers a king bed, plus a sitting area, walk-in closet and a flatscreen TV. Bedroom two features a twin daybed with reading lamps and a sliding separator door. There is also additional sleeping space available on the queen sofa bed in the living room downstairs. The full bathroom can be found off the hallway upstairs, and it offers a jetted tub for a relaxing soak. A half bathroom can be found downstairs for your convenience. Other amenities include free wi-fi, central air and heat, a washer and dryer, a full kitchen and a private courtyard. The living room in this property offers elegant comfort with nostalgic decor, a flatscreen TV and plenty of seating. The layout is quite cozy with a decorative fireplace at the center. Across from the living room is a dining room with a table that seats six. Beyond that is a full kitchen with an open layout and full-size appliances. This townhouse features gorgeous wood flooring throughout and area rug accents. The outside courtyard is another major feature of this property. Not all Savannah vacation rentals have a roomy outdoor space like this one. The courtyard is quite private and includes a table with seating for four, plus a charcoal grill, surrounding fence and brick patio. It's a peaceful place to enjoy outdoor dining during your stay.
The location of Vacation rentals Savannah GA is another important consideration when deciding where to stay. This one is located off East Jones Street and is just to the east of Troup Square and Whitefield Square. You will be within walking distance of many popular spots in Savannah. For example, not far to the north and west is the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which is one of the most photographed spots in all of Savannah. Spend an afternoon marveling at its intricate Gothic architecture, and then you can easily move along south to visit the Andrew Low House and Flannery O'Connor House Museum. If you go north of the cathedral, you'll come across Colonial Park Cemetery. This storied cemetery is one of the largest parks in Savannah. It has been closed to new burials for a long time, but it is the permanent resting place of a great many famous Savannah residents.
Two of Savannah's other most popular spots lie further to the south and north respectively. At the south end of the Historic District is Forsyth Park. This is the largest park in Savannah and features a cafe, many walking trails and places for picnics and recreation. Make sure to visit the iron fountain and fragrant garden within the park. To the far north of the Historic District is River Street. This riverside promenade makes use of old cotton warehouses that are now restaurants and shops. Make sure to visit Morrell Park and the Waving Girl Landing. The latter statue is a memorial to Savannah resident Florence Martus, who was known for standing there and waving down every boat entering the port. To this day, no one knows exactly why.
Another great excursion to consider when you stay in Savannah vacation homes is the trip to Tybee Island. This drive only takes about 30 minutes and transfers you to a serene and gorgeous Atlantic-facing island. On the easternmost side, you'll find warm, sandy beaches. To the north, you'll find the statuesque Tybee Lighthouse overlooking the point where the ocean meets the river. On the western side, you'll find Savannah River beaches and plenty of fishing opportunities. You can quite easily spend the majority of a day here exploring the small shops, relaxing on the beach, and having a delicious meal at one of the several waterfront restaurants. Tybee Island is the perfect getaway within a getaway.
