This stunning Savannah vacation rental offers an impressive 1,662 square feet of space. It houses three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The home's rooms and halls are peppered with charming touches like crystal chandeliers, oversized windows, fireplaces, and built-in bookcases. Picture the parlor-style living room of this home to be your perfect spot for reading classics from famed Savannah authors like Flannery O'Connor and Charles Perry.

The secret behind 220 E State Main's allure is that it combines classic Savannah with an artsy, modern twist that will make you feel like you're staying in an artist's space. Enter through a spacious foyer where sunlight drenches a beautiful wood floor. The rest of the house waits to offer you a modernized, edgy retreat space carved into a historic Savannah property.

Just by the entry, you will find yourself by the doorway to a spacious king bedroom on the first floor with a bay window overlooking bustling Oglethorpe Square. Down the hallway, the formal dining room features an elegant glass table with seating for six beside a fireplace. In this space, you can also enjoy serving up your favorite cocktails from the dry bar. Venturing further into the downstairs, you will then find yourself in the home's very neat, practical kitchen. Enjoy a space showcasing granite-topped white cabinets over cobbled tile flooring. A chef's dream, this kitchen is stocked with a double oven, French-door refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave in stainless steel. Extras like a coffee maker and blender ensure that you can enjoy caffeinated drinks and libations with ease!

From the kitchen, you will find additional space for relaxing or entertaining. The brick-walled living room beckons you to a nap or movie night on the plush sofa in front of the flatscreen television. On the other side of the kitchen, there is a cozy built in dining nook leading out to the gorgeous brick courtyard. The outdoor space features a dining table with umbrella, gas grill, and cafe lights for ambience in the evening.

Two additional bedrooms in 220 E State Main were made for hosting sweet, Southern-style dreaming. Located on the second floor, the home's two queen bedrooms are polished spaces offering refuge from the activity of the main floor. Offering an en-suite bathroom, the first queen bedroom places you on a soft, stately bed facing a fireplace. There is a flat-screen television visible from the bed. In addition, this room features ample closet space, dressers, and a small work desk. The second bedroom features a charming canopy-style bed that is bathed in light from the room's large windows during the day. The room also features a fireplace, flat-screen television, and a collection of beautiful artwork.

In addition to the en-suite bathroom attached to the first bedroom, there is a second full bathroom on the home's second floor. A half bathroom is located on the first floor. Touches like oversized vanities with double sinks and full tub-shower combos ensure that nobody is ever fighting over bathroom space in this home. Additionally, there is a full washer-dryer set up for guests to enjoy. Wi-Fi, satellite/cable, and air conditioning are provided with this rental.

Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitmarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

220 E State Main is not a pet friendly home. If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. Please contact the Southern Belle office for more details.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

We rented this home for the week as we were in town for our daughter's wedding. It was perfect and met our needs. It came well-equipped, was clean & cozy. The location was great so we could walk everywhere. They checked on us the first day and we had one small issue which was addressed immediately. You do need to pay for parking daily which was a hassle but overall we were very pleased! I would defiantly rent this property again and would recommend it to others =)

The title says it all about this rental.My family and I vacationed here and the accommodations perfectly fit our family of 4 with plenty of room to spare. Its location on a beautiful, quiet street, only a block from Leopoldo's and Broughton Street, and less than a 10 min walk to the river. It was one of the nicest rentals we've stayed in given all the amenities including a beautiful dining/bar area. The beds were comfortable and so was the living room couch for when we came together to watch movies after our day out in the city. Let me not forget how beautifully decorated it was!!!! There were plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful courtyard for outdoor dining, games for the family to play, books for reading and the list goes on!! Also, the rental's owners were so thoughtful to stock the refrigerator with waters and have snacks available upon arrival. That meant a lot to us after our travel day. The rental company was great to work with on any questions/concerns. We will definitely consider 220 E State for our future vacations.

We have stayed in Savannah several times. This house has by far been our favorite. From the honeysuckles that hangover the entry way to the decor of the home. This house has everything you need on a vacation. It's two blocks from Starbucks, it's a block from Broughton and the Funky Brunch Breakfast. If you rent this house you will not be disappointed.

What more could you ask for…a Beautiful Home in an excellent location (just across the street from Oglethorpe Square). This home is close to everything but on a quiet street. We walked everywhere. Check out Bella Napoli Bistro it is 3 blocks away. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We will stay here again.

We had a great stay at 220 E State! We appreciated the tea, coffee, and snacks that were left for our stay. Management was proactive about informing us about the construction and checking in partway through our stay to make sure everything was working properly. Overall, a great experience!

We brought our adult children and their spouses to Savannah for our annual Christmas trip. The property we rented at 220 E State Street was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of room for the 6 of us to have our own space but yet enjoy being together! The property was very clean and well maintained. The sofa bed in the main living area was able to be closed off to add privacy while sleeping where normally that is not the case in other rentals. The extra half bath just off the area with the sleeper sofa was also a wonderful amenity. Although we didn’t use the kitchen area to cook while there, you would definitely be happy with the top of the line appliances and beauty of this area! We all talked about how great the location was as well. All of the main attractions are easily within walking distance. It is especially close to the Broughton Street where a lot of great shopping areas and restaurants are. River Street is also an easy walk. Communication with Southern Belle was a breeze and everyone I messaged with were so helpful and very pleasant! I just cannot say enough about this property! I have already recommended this property to several family and friends of ours and we will definitely use this property again when returning to Savannah!

We really enjoyed our stay. The artwork in the townhome is amazing and we really enjoyed looking at the book the owner left to show where they acquired all the items. The townhouse is nicely appointed with everything you need for a great stay and the location couldn't be better. We recommend this location for two couples or family of 3/4.

The accommodations are absolutely beautiful. Even better than pictures can show. The location is perfect as you are walking distance to River Street in one direction as well as the historic squares of Savannah in the other direction. But location is only one of the many great attributes. From the breathtaking views from the front porch to the private patio in the back this property is amazing! Interior is done perfectly. Has all the amenities one could ask. When returning to the area we will stay here again!
