Do you watch gridiron action on Sunday afternoon or Monday, or Thursday nights? Or do you cheer on your college team on Saturdays? With football season in full swing, some rabid fans won’t even attend a friend’s wedding during the fall. But no worries when it comes to vacation time in Savannah.

Whatever colors you wear, the city provides plenty of places to catch your team when they run onto the field. Check out a few of our favorites.

Savannah Tap House

With 40 beers on tap and more than 100 bottled choices, the Savannah Tap House makes a great place to catch a game. They offer a Bucket Special at $16 for a bucket of five beers, a mix of Coors Light, Miller Lite, Dos Equis, TRULY, and PBR for football game days. This upscale sports bar also offers a delicious menu with made-from-scratch entrees, unique sandwich selections, and a create-your-own chopped salad. Not your typical bar food, right? Discover Savannah Tap House in the heart of the Historic District at 125 E. Broughton St.

PS Tavern

The owners of PS Tavern at 11 W. Bay St. created a comfortable, welcoming tavern with a neighborhood feel. PS Tavern is Savannah’s home to the Green Bay Packer watch parties with plenty of TVs to catch a game. But you don’t have to be a Packer’s fan to enjoy competition as they also host various college watch parties. The menu is traditional All-American cuisine with burgers, wings (they offer 14 rubs and sauces), and amazing sandwiches. And, of course, pizza, with dough and sauce made fresh, in-house. But don’t worry, our menu offers something for everyone.

Pour Larry's

Pour Larry’s at 206 W. Saint Julian St. offers a relaxing and entertaining atmosphere to sit back and have a cold beer while watching a game. Located in the Central Market area, Pour Larry’s is an ideal sports bar with multiple screens available so customers can keep up with their favorite team.

Dub's Pub

Dub’s Pub on River Street elevates your game day experience to another level. With more than two dozen TVs, take in any game you want. Sample their craft beer selection while playing various games in the large game room. Dine on Elevated Pub Fare, such as Jalapeño Beer Cheese or Spring Pea Hummus. Hang out in a historic River Street warehouse where Dub’s beautiful brick and bamboo interior balances the old and new Savannah charm.

Yell “Go Dawgs!” or “Roll Tide.” Either way, you’ll find a spot to enjoy the game while on a Savannah vacation
