Are pets allowed in Southern Belle Properties?
Pets are only permitted in properties that are designated as pet-friendly at the Homeowners' discretion. Any guest found with a pet in a property that is not pet friendly will be required to vacate the premises without a refund. This is strictly enforced. What is your payment schedule for reservations?
Payment is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Our deposits are based on nightly rental rates: $300 if the nightly rental rate is less than $400/night, $500 if the nightly rental is $400 or higher. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Payments and deposits are accepted in the form of a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) with a 3.5% convenience fee or by e-check, a form we would send you that you would fill out online with the same information that appears on a normal check.
What is Southern Belle's check-in/check-out policy?
On your scheduled day of arrival, you may check-in anytime after 4:00 pm EST. On your scheduled date of departure, check-out time is 10:00 am EST. Please make sure the dates on your confirmation are correct. Early check-ins and late check-outs can't be confirmed until the day before arrival or departure. ALL EARLY CHECK-INS & LATE CHECK-OUTS MUST BE CONFIRMED VIA EMAIL OR IN WRITING. Please call our office at 912-289-0130 for details.
What is Southern Belle's cancellation policy?
Unless covered by Travel Protection, cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will result in forfeiture of the initial reservation deposit. Unless covered by Travel Protection, NO refunds will be provided for cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date. Early departure does not warrant any refund. For more details on our cancellation policy, please refer to your confirmation email. You may not transfer your deposit to another home in our rental pool should you change your mind and want to rent a different home than as agreed upon in your rental agreement.
What is provided for each rental in regards to linens, bath towels, and toiletries?
Each bed within the property will be complete with sheets, pillowcases, and a blanket and/or comforter upon arrival. Each full bathroom is outfitted with at least 1 large bath towel per person, 1 wash cloth per person, and a bath mat. Towels are not permitted to be taken from our rental homes so we suggest you bring beach or pool towels. The linens will only be serviced by Southern Belle upon departure unless mid-stay cleans are purchased through our office. Each bathroom will have an initial supply of hand soap and toilet tissue. Each kitchen will have an initial stock of paper towels and trash bags.
What housekeeping service does Southern Belle offer?
Each rental home will be cleaned prior to guest check-in and then upon guest check-out and departure. This is scheduled at the time of your reservation and is required. Additional housekeeping services such as mid-stay cleans and towel and linen service are available upon request for an additional charge. Please contact our office at 912-289-0130 for details.
What does a guest need to bring?
Each property is different and supplied/stocked with different equipment. Here are a few suggestions of items that are NOT typically provided: Beach towels, beach and pool floats and toys, golf clubs, tennis rackets, special condiments, and spices. Paper products and trash bags are supplied in the welcome kit we provide, but will likely not last your entire stay. Anything you must have to enjoy your vacation, please bring it with you.
