One of the best things about Savannah is the city’s desire to celebrate. A simple gathering quickly turns into a “happening.” As for upcoming events, there are several to mark on your calendar.

Savannah Comic Con, in its ninth year, takes place July 29-30 at the Savannah Convention Center is a pop culture and nostalgia convention to bring worldwide pop culture under one roof for all fans to enjoy. Savannah Comic Con was started by a group of people who love geek culture with many years of experience as collectors and dealers in the convention community.

Southeast Punk Flea Market, also set July 29-30, takes place at the Alee Shrine Club. The flea market focuses on underground art, alternative fashion and anything that surrounds the culture while giving like-minded individuals a place to showcase their creations and hopefully make a little extra money selling their goods.
