Need time away with your best buds? Book a weekend guys trip to Savannah, where we’ve got great properties like lofts, garden condos, and cottages that are steps from all the fun of the historic district.

Golf in Savannah, Ga.

On Saturday morning, tee off at a Savannah golf course. There’s nothing like playing a round of golf to bond with your bros, and this time of year the weather is perfect for it. Hit up The Club at Savannah Harbor with its spectacular downtown views and challenging play. The municipal course, Bacon Park, has two courses with twists and turns, elevation changes, and large greens.

Southbridge Golf Club offers forgiving fairways, large undulating greens, strategically placed water, and contoured fairways winding through beautiful live oak trees and Georgia pines. Golfers of all skill levels can have an enjoyable experience on any one of these courses. Then, after playing 9 or 18 holes, kick back with a beer on the veranda.

Savannah Pub Crawl

While we’re talking about enjoying a drink, how about a pub crawl? Spend your evening in the historic district, home to an array of pubs and breweries like Moon River Brewing Company, which brews a variety of beers throughout the year including stouts, pale ales, porter and IPAs. Enjoy authentic English food and drinks at Six Pence Pub or Churchill’s Pub, as well.

Or how about a whiskey tasting at Molly MacPherson’s Pub & Grill?  They offer an extensive single malt collection, Scottish fare, and a lively atmosphere.

You can even take a tour at Service Brewing Co., open from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturdays. The veteran-owned craft brewery makes large-scale beers as well as small batches of innovative brews. Its tasting room makes a great stop during your guys weekend. No reservations required.

Charter Fishing in Savannah

On Sunday, hop aboard a fishing charter for a few hours on the water. Coastal River Charters offers excursions from three to eight hours. Have a blast reeling in sea trout, flounder, red drum and sharks. Capt. Jack will even customize the trip for you.

After getting back on land, head over to Husk Restaurant for Southern food made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Start with the oysters, move on to shrimp and grits, or duck, and finish off with decadent chocolate cake or cheesecake.
