Vacation Rental FAQ

Sometimes the most intimidating part of a vacation is trying to make sure you get to see everything there is to see, do everything there is to do, and eat everything that makes that area special and unique—and that's where we come in! We have created this sample itinerary for your stay in our city that lists all the high spots in attractions, activities, and restaurants. You don't have to do it all or in the order we show, but it gives you an idea on how to fill your time while you're here!

Day 1

Travel and picking up supplies will take up most of your first day in sultry Savannah; why not stop at the Fresh Market and pick up some staples for your stay? Wine, pastries, and some cheese, veggies, and other ingredients to make up a quick charcuterie tray will make your first night in town a quiet and relaxing one.

Day 2

Breakfast at Debi's is the first thing on our agenda for today, and after a filling meal of biscuits, gravy, and sweet tea, you will be ready to hit the ground running. We've found that the best way to spend your first day in our town is with a tour. Savannah Tours by Old Town Trolley will give you an informative and fascinating glimpse of our tree-lined streets and the graceful homes that adorn them. Stop and grab a bite at any of the restaurants that look interesting for lunch but be sure to save room for a romantic dinner at Alligator Soul Restaurant.

Day 3

Starting the day out with the pastries you bought on your first night saves time, energy, and money. Now, let's put on your walking shoes and hit the streets! The history of our city is one that we cherish, as is obvious from the museums and homes that dot our streets. Today is the perfect day to visit some of those homes you saw on your tour yesterday, including the Juliette Gordon Lowe home, the Owens-Thomas House, and the Telfair Museum. Dinner tonight will take place at The Lady and Sons, owned by the esteemed Paula Deen.

Day 4

Maple Street Biscuit Company brings a smile to your face on day four, and then it's time to warm up your credit cards; today is all about shopping in Savannah's historic district! Broughton Street offers a selection of stores that include specialty foods, gifts for the home, and of course, souvenirs! Nourish, a bath and body shop, is one of our favorites! Vic's on the River offers an elegant and tasteful way to end your day of fun. Built in a 19th century warehouse, the building was once used as an office for General Sherman, during the "late unpleasantness."

Day 5

As the end of your stay grows ever closer, the fifth day of fun in Savannah will take you up the river. River Street is one of our most loved places in the city. Paved with cobblestones picked up from all over the world and known to be one of the most haunted streets in town, your day can be spent shopping and exploring, while at night Savannah Ghost Tours offers a tour of the most haunted spots along the river. Dinner and drinks at the Cotton Exchange Tavern will end your tour of the river on a high note!

Day 6

Your last full day in Savannah, you may feel a little blue, but if you take today to stay home and enjoy the beauty of a quiet Southern day in your Southern Belle vacation escape, the memories made will ease the pain. Sleep a little later in our tranquil bedrooms, sit out on the patio drinking sweet tea, or play board games with the family to celebrate the bonding you've enjoyed over this past week. Reserve yours today!
