Dolphin Dance

The simplicity and stark beauty of Dolphin Dance presents itself immediately upon entering. The white tiles and soft-hued walls have a clean look to them that is ideal for beach living. First, in the dining room is a table for eight in front of floor to ceiling windows leading to the veranda. Nearby is one of the living areas with plenty of seating and a TV. The huge gourmet kitchen is also right at hand, with stainless steel appliances, miles of counter space for anything you want to cook, and all the courtesy appliances such as a coffee maker and microwave. There is also a breakfast bar with five stools for extra seating at dinner or a casual breakfast or snack. Out on the veranda, you'll find seating and a small dining table for two. From the veranda walk out onto the sun deck where you can enjoy eating or just relaxing while watching the large ships leaving the river for the open sea. The ground level patio hosts the grill and more seating, not to mention a great view of the marshes. From the patio is access to a long boardwalk leading to the beach.

The bedrooms of Dolphin Dance are all well-appointed with ceiling fans, simple white decor and the occasional beach scene. Right up the wrought iron-railed staircase is a large loft-area living space with seating and a TV. The loft also sleeps 4 between two twin beds and two trundle beds. Also upstairs, the master bedroom has its own balcony, offering more river views.

There is no shortage of things to do on your Tybee beach vacation. Besides taking advantage of island activities, you can also make the short trip to historic downtown Savannah for even more things to see and do. Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

The house,Dolphin Dance,is beautiful and comfortable, ideal for families of different generations.Self check-in was quick and not complicated and the interior was cool, inviting, and clean. The kitchen is spacious and outfitted with everything except food. The bedrooms are spacious, each with a television and sufficient bedding. The lounge chairs on each level were soooo comfortable. The jewel of the house is the screened-in room off the dining area. It provided privacy and a tranquil space for reading, napping, and watching the dolphins frolic. And, there's a boardwalk directly to the beach which was never crowded.The staff were professional, responsive, and provided on going clear, concise check-in and check-out and house information. We will most likely rent again and spread the word. Dolphin Dance provided the perfect family vacation.

Our first ever vacation to Tybee Island Georgia was great. I booked through Southern Belle and choose a home that was called Dolphin Dance which was truly named that for a reason. The Dolphins really do dance out in the waters. The home we stayed in was clean and beautiful. Being a wildlife and Nature Photographer I enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck watching the huge cargo ships egrets and different birds and also the short walk down to the water and watching the Dolphins play and dance. We went out and grabbed a bite at Bubba Gumbos Place, the food was great. We enjoyed our journey.

We were a group of 11 and everyone felt this was our best vacation ever! It was homey and yet very resort-ish. We loved the practically private beach and walkway. Dolphin watching was plentiful right from the beach! So many things were within easy access giving us as much or as little to do as we choose. It was a fabulous week, just absolutely beautiful.

Dolphin Dance is the perfect house for a family getaway. We stayed with our grown children & grandkids. The open area on the second level was perfect for the kids. It had a large clear area for them to play & a large tv. We slept in the adjoining bedroom & loved being so close to them. The kitchen was fantastic. It was large with plenty of cabinets & counter space. The counter & bar stools on the other side made it a perfect gathering place while cooking. Would absolutely stay here again!!
