Located only about 30 minutes from downtown Savannah, Tybee Island is a small barrier island with an eastern side facing the Atlantic Ocean. Get away from city living entirely, and bask in refreshing ocean breezes and relax on sandy beaches. But it's easy to do both when you stay in Tybee Island Vacation Rentals. We have properties all over the island, making it easy to stay closest to what you want to see. Despite its small size, Tybee Island is big on things to do. One of our larger Tybee Island Vacation Rentals is the Cedar House property. This rental features five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2,500 square feet, an elevator and an outdoor grill. It can accommodate a total of 10 guests. Three bedrooms feature one king-size bed each, another bedroom offers one queen bed and yet another bedroom offers two twin beds. An air mattress is available for set up in another space. Like many of our Vacation Rentals Tybee Island GA, this property is only minutes to the beach. It also offers a large screen porch, washer and dryer unit, outdoor shower, parking for four cars, a dining table with seating for ten people, breakfast bar with seating for 2, free wireless internet and both a drip coffee maker and a single serve. The master king bedroom includes a Jacuzzi tub plus access to the screened porch. One king guest room has an ensuite bathroom, another two bedrooms share a hall bathroom. The room with the twin beds has access to a half bathroom. One of the other king bedrooms also has access to a private balcony. The property features beautiful wood floors throughout and thoughtful coastal and nautical decor. Flatscreen TVs are located in several rooms and you'll enjoy the full gourmet kitchen complete with double sinks and tons of counter space.

Our Tybee Vacation Homes have many great locations, and this particular property is on the southwest side of the island between 15th Street and Tabrisa Street on the north and south. If you head to the east side of the island, you'll find the main Atlantic-facing beaches, as well as the Marine Science Center and a popular fishing pier. The west side of the island is closest to the river-facing beaches as well as the fascinating marshlands. If you want to know more about the marsh environment, make sure to sign up for a marsh trek at the science center. Proceed to the north end of the island to discover Fort Screven and a number of other Civil War era sites as well as the Tybee Lighthouse. You won't want to miss a good climb to the top and the panoramic view that it offers. If you feel like lingering on the north end, the rugged beaches there are fun for beachcombing, and it also gives you the chance to see maritime traffic coming in to the busy Savannah port.

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

Cedar House was the perfect house for our family. It was very spacious and we loved the open concept of the kitchen-dining-living area. It was a great house for our Thanksgiving gathering. The location was great, as we had other extended families staying nearby, so it was an easy walk to visit each other. The ping pong table was a hit with the older kids. The office staff of Southern Belle was always very helpful and friendly when I called with questions prior to our trip, and after we arrived. I would recommend Cedar House to any large family that needs plenty of space. It was a fun trip.

The Cedar House is beautiful, the pictures are exactly what the home looks like. It is also quiet and comfortable.The location is within walking distance to the beach and pier, restaurants etc. The elevator is great for stair challenged people like myself!

This place was amazing!! Had So much space for all of us!! We actually wanted to spend time at "home" our last night instead of going out! We ordered Pizza and played games! Would recommend this place to anyone!!! Close to beach and easy access to downtown! The pool was awesome also!! We were so glad we were able to take advantage of it! Hopefully can make it back someday!

Three families met here for a “family reunion.” Location was great, short walk to everything! Kitchen was well-stocked with tons of seating. We loved the family room because it also had plenty of seating for everyone! Our only suggestion would be new bed pillows! We'd definitely return, friendly staff and great house!

My family and I all considered this to be an excellent choice, in all respects. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the master suite, and the fact that it was on the main floor. We also made good use of the outdoor grille, the ping pong, and the cornhole device. The kitchen features and utensils were everything we needed. Cedar House was a large part of making our family get together an enjoyable event. Thanks David Feild

This is a very nice house with an enclosed yard. It accommodated my family very well. We were within walking distance of places to eat and all the beach shops. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We were comfortable.
