Crawford Estate

The neat front porch and brick exterior of the Crawford Estate belies the deluxe accommodations you will find within. A four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom property with a private courtyard, dedicated parking and a whopping 3,108 square feet of living space, you won't find any other Savannah vacation homes that can compare.

An open floor plan on the main level, built-in bookcases and a decorative fireplace in the living room, formal dining plus a light-washed breakfast nook are some of the sumptuous features that greet you as you first walk in the door. Professionally decorated to make the most of light and color, the Crawford accommodations seem to be straight from the glossy pages of House Beautiful.

The main floor also contains a fully outfitted kitchen, which includes lovely glass-doored cupboards, a gas range, microwave, roomy refrigerator and a countertop coffee maker. The drawers and cabinets are filled with all of the dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils you might need to prepare gourmet meals for your entire crew. Just off the breakfast room, a generous, covered back porch offers a place to wind down with your favorite beverage as the air begins to cool. Just beyond, your private, brick-lined courtyard awaits with verdant landscaping and privacy.

On the second floor, two bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, offer accommodations for four. The master suite features a fabulous king-sized sleigh bed, bedside tables with lamps, a dresser with a flat-screen TV and a desk for your computer. The attached full-sized bath boasts a romantic jetted tub for two. The second bedroom has a bath with a glass-doored shower. Large windows keep the atmosphere light and airy. A wealth of closet space makes it easy to stow your clothing, luggage and other gear out of view yet within convenient reach.

The third floor is an adorable loft with two queen beds. This aerie includes its own spacious rooftop balcony with cushy seating plus an ensuite bath with a shower. Don't be surprised if the members in your group vie for this prized space.

Central air and heating plus ceiling fans throughout enable you to customize your home away from home to suit your comfort level. In addition, there is a laundry area for your use.

The Accommodations

The Crawford Carriage House is also included in the rental, which is another reason this accommodation is such a rarity among vacation rentals Savannah GA. This well-organized studio apartment has eye-catching bleached wood floors, a cozy living room with a television and DVD player, and a place for you to use your laptop.

The full kitchen includes a handy breakfast bar, a range, refrigerator, French press coffee maker and a microwave. Of course, like all Savannah vacation rentals, the Carriage House kitchen is fully stocked with a full complement of culinary tools.

The boudoir area provides you with a queen bed, a nightstand and lamp, and a rocking chair. The bathroom opens off this space and features a contemporary glass-doored shower.

When you stay at the Crawford Estate, you are only a few steps from one of the Savannah Historic District's town squares. Crawford Square is a great place to stroll, people watch, and take a peaceful break from your busy itinerary.

One feature that distinguishes Crawford Square from the other 21 squares in the city is the fact that it is fenced. Although all of the squares originally had fences, Crawford has the only one remaining. This east-side square was established in 1841, with the surrounding neighborhood taking shape around the mid-century. Nearby, you can tour the Colonial Cemetery and historic police barracks dating to the 1870s.

Catch the free Historic District shuttle bus at Crawford Square, and venture farther afield around the city. If your visit includes a Saturday, be sure to head to Forsyth Park's weekly farmer's market. You can find fresh produce, artisan baked goods, music and plenty of other visitors from vacation rentals Savannah GA. While there, stroll over to the fabulous Forsyth fountain, the park's centerpiece. You'll likely happen upon a wedding ceremony taking place in front of the spectacular backdrop. Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

It was beautiful and spacious. Noise did not travel in the house, which is great. Great location and very walkable to shops, restaurants and Water front. Very nice decor and beautiful back porch yard area. It is three floors so there are a lot of steps so keep that in mind. Would stay there again if we get back to Savannah.

This was an awesome house to stay at! The carriage house is extremely cute and well designed as an extra room with a little bit more privacy! A very large master bedroom makes for a comfortable stay! The best part is the location, 1 mile to River Street, half a mile to Broughton Shopping District and restaurant options everywhere in between! Easy check in and check out instructions. Overall very happy with our experience and would 10/10 recommend!

Our book club read Surviving Savannah and traveled to learn the history of the town. Our home and carriage house were perfect for our group. The place was clean and comfortable, and a safe location within walking distance of everything. The staff reached out to us upon arrival to check that everything was fine. We would stay here again!

Sweet accomodations! It is as the pictures show! When you map it, it seems slightly remote, but actually its very close to stop 13 on the trolley tour. it is also walking distance to St. Johns, Hitch, Collins Quarter and Broughton Street. The only negative is that the garage will NOT fit a large SUV. Parking on the street is not a deal unless its sweeper night. Enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at The Crawford. First time to Savannah. We enjoyed the layout of the house. We all had enough space to hang out but also have privacy. It feels really homey and you just don't want to leave! You have done a wonderful job decorating it. Location was great. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
