Like all of our Savannah vacation rentals, this property offers a ton of amenities. The interior features huge windows with a street view, plus shiny hardwood floors, brick accented walls and soaring ceilings. The decor is an eclectic mix of old and new with an emphasis on gold and wood tones. The main room of this property is a great place to relax with two sofas and a flatscreen TV. Nearby is the dining room as well as a gourmet kitchen with a bar that looks out into the main room. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a microwave, refrigerator and stove. Utensils and cookware are provided so that you can cook your favorite meals while on vacation. The rest of the kitchen is finished in dark, cherry-tone wood to provide an appealing contrast with the granite countertops. The two bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds along with a flatscreen TV, a full-length mirror and closet space. There is also a washer and dryer in this unit for your convenience. This property is also located almost precisely between four squares. These squares are Telfair Square, Ellis Square, Wright Square and Johnson Square. Savannah's historic squares are some of the most storied attractions in the city.

In terms of what else to visit while you're in the city, some of the popular neighborhoods include River Street, City Market and Forsyth Park. River Street, in particular, can be a day's worth of adventure. The former cotton warehouses that used to line the river have been converted to a bevy of shops, galleries and eateries. Not only that, but you can book a riverboat tour here and spend a few hours out on the water. City Market is known for its variety of nightlife and is a great place to find jazz bars and open-air cafes. Forsyth Park might be the perfect trip in the morning if you want to walk through the trails and enjoy all the plants.

Savannah is also full of museums and old houses that display architecture and furniture from earlier time periods. One of the most famous is the Mercer-Williams House Museum, which was a featured place in the Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil movie. The Andrew Low House is another popular one, which is where the Girl Scouts founder lived. It is rumored to be haunted as well.

If you want to venture outside of Savannah, then you might consider taking the 30-minute drive to Tybee Island. This fun little barrier island has its own complement of shops, waterfront restaurants and possible activities. The Tybee Lighthouse on the north end is probably its biggest claim to fame. Another engaging spot is the Tybee Marine Science Center, which features a number of ecological tours and displays. It's a great place to take children or anyone who loves learning about ecological diversity.

Amazingly awesome. Beautiful furnishings, peaceful. Close to restaurants, shopping. We felt safe. I have some mobility issues and sometimes have difficulty walking. This was easy to maneuver. The elevator was a little scary but it is vintage. We will use these hosts again!

Was in Savannah for my sons wedding . We had the best stay at the Broughton Retreat. It was walking distance to most everything. The condo was clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying here and both times have exceeded our expectations! You just can’t beat the incredible location right in the middle of Broughton only steps from shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The apartment is so cute and charming, the beds were so comfortable and there were TVs in every room to enjoy while winding down at night after a long day of exploring. The full kitchen allowed us to save money and not need to eat at restaurants for every meal which is a feature you can’t get at a normal hotel! We can’t wait to return!

The Broughton Retreat was perfect for us and our friends. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, and the included parking was nice. The beds were comfy. The furniture was nice, as was the kitchen.

We loved our long weekend at Broughton Retreat! It's super close to River Street! At night it's very noisy because there's 2 bars right beside the condo. But I used a sound machine noise from my phone to tune it out. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment in the historic district. The apartment was clean, quiet and updated , yet had the suggestion of old Savannah with its high ceilings, repurposed hardwoods in the flooring, and 4 poster beds. It is within walking distance of museums, shopping, great restaurants, parks, the river shops and a stroll down Jones St.

The apartment is perfect for 4 people- gorgeous high ceiling, beautiful furniture and very clean. The supplies provided in the house were perfect for 4 days of stay. The house is central to all fun places- 20 mins walk to Forsythe park, 10 mins walk to the river, 5 mins walk to all the good restaurants on Broughton, 7 min walk to the City Market. We dint have to use our car at all except to visit Tybee island. The elevator wasnt working when we arrived, the team immediately put the work order and it was fixed the very next day.

When we had an issue with the door locking we called the emergency number and the maintenance person was there in 15 minutes to change out the batteries in the lock. Problem solved. The elevator was down when we got there so dragging our luggage up the stairs was challenging, but it was fixed and working the next day. We loved being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend especially for stays without children. Would definitely go back! Thank you for a great long weekend.

This place was close enough to downtown that we could literally walk to anywhere wanted to go. It was just far enough from the City Market to remain quiet during most sleeping hours. The family had a great time. The VRBO was very inviting and spacious enough to relax (much better than staying in a hotel).

Very clean and in the perfect location for our party. A few blocks from literally everything. Beds were so comfortable and if the comforter would've fit in my luggage I might have tried to take it. :) We had no issues what so ever. There was traffic noise but not enough to bother me and our first night, which was a Saturday, we heard some commotion from the bar downstairs but it was quiet the rest of our stay. We would all stay at a Southern Belle property again!
