Southern Belle Vacation Rentals in Savannah, GA, and Tybee Island, GA provides first-class amenities including access to our exclusive resort-style heated pool located at 19 Silver Avenue, Tybee Island GA. All of our homes are professionally cleaned after each stay, and disinfected using a quaternary disinfectant throughout the entire property prior to each new arrival.

The courtyard is shared with the one-bedroom carriage house on the back of the property. Create your own private compound by renting the carriage house in addition to the main house.

Have it all! Southern Elegance is a beautiful historic home located in the Savannah Historic District and near renowned Forsyth Park. It has been professionally updated, designed and decorated and has everything you need to make your stay in Savannah one to remember. Offering four bedrooms and four bathrooms, this lovely carriage house can sleep a total of sixteen guests in 3450 square feet. Southern Elegance also stands out in terms of what it offers for outdoor living. It has a cozy, Savannah-style front porch with its own Live Oak & Spanish Moss view, a screened-in side porch, and to top it off, a courtyard with a heated, saltwater pool, palm trees, and outdoor fireplace. Not only do you have access to the pool in the courtyard, but also to Southern Belle's private resort style heated pool on Tybee Island located at 19 Silver Ave just steps from the beach.

The first floor includes two separate living areas: a lovely front parlor, as well as a sitting room in the back of the home with television. The formal dining room can seat 14 comfortably. And the well-equipped gourmet kitchen includes a butler’s pantry, wine refrigerators, ice maker, two dishwashers, and more. There’s also a lovely half bath on the first floor. The second floor includes three bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom has a historic mantle with non-working fireplace. The master bath includes a claw-footed tub and a separate oversized shower with two shower heads. There is also a porch off the master bath. The second bath includes a tub with shower. The third floor is its own suite – including a king-sized bed, living area, wet bar, and full bath.

Historic Charm

The house was built in 1892 for Frederick Wessells and maintains that Savannah historic charm, while providing you with space for everyone and modern décor and amenities you’ll cherish during your stay. Enjoy the five historic mantles (non-working fireplaces) throughout the house, the original duel fuel light fixtures in the living room and dining room, the original kitchen hutch now located adjacent to the butler’s pantry, and many other historic features that give Southern Elegance it’s wonderful charm.

If you're looking for a unique look at Savannah, then be sure to try the Underground Savannah Tours. This collection of tours takes a closer look at the history of African Americans in the city. Southern Belle Pool

In addition to the on-site pool at this property, our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

Our entire party loved staying at Southern Elegance for our family vacation! Southern Belle Rental Agency was truly impressive with their timely addressing of any concerns, questions or requests. The location is perfect and the grocery store right out your back door! Highly recommend the house or agency to all!

We had 10 ladies stay at this location for a girls trip. The house was spacious and clean when we arrived, the beds were comfortable Check in process was easy. Southern Belle kept in touch via text and was very available if we needed.

We enjoyed our "Girls Trip" with 6 ladies in Savannah! The house was very roomy and comfortable. The 2 gathering areas (Living room and den) accommodated 6 people nicely. We only used the pool once, but the water was refreshing and nice. The beds were comfortable and the front porch was a great place to gather.

The house was perfect size for our group of 12. The top floor room having a king bed and 2 twins was great. The closet in that room was large enough to be a separate room, although we did not use it for that. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking pans.

Home away from home. House exactly as is on the intranet. The house is spacious for a family of ten and we also booked the carriage house as well. Best part of the house was the front porch. It was so relaxing and the neighborhood was great and everyone was friendly.
