East Park Retreat Main + Carriage

Located just a few blocks away from infamous Forsth Park, East Park Retreat Main + Carriage House presents a unique opportunity to have close access to one of Savannah's historic landmarks. As one of our larger Savannah vacation rentals, the property offers space for 10 guests over 2,816 square feet, which includes the main house and carriage house. In total the property boasts four total bedrooms, with three and a half bathrooms. The main house has most of the space, which includes a gourmet kitchen, dining room with seating for six, a living room, separate den, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, and a washer and dryer. One bedroom has a queen bed with en suite bathroom, the second room has a king bed, and the third has a queen. An air mattress is available for use in the common spaces. The main house and carriage house are connected by an outdoor deck and brick courtyard with gas grill. In the carriage house, you'll find a living room with flatscreen TV, full kitchen, queen bedroom, full bathroom with tub and shower combo, and a washer and dryer.

The living room in the main house offers glossy wood floors and comfortable seating where you can relax after a hard day of exploring. Large flatscreen TVs are provided throughout the living spaces. The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to make your own delicious meals during your stay. A counter bar with two stools is a great place to socialize with the cook as well. The den area in the house provides a sofa and flatscreen with French doors leading outside. The carriage house has a comfortable big studio feel with a smaller kitchen right off the living room. Despite its smaller size, this kitchen still has everything you need for preparing meals, including a small counter bar with two stools.

Finding things to do in historic downtown Savannah is rarely difficult as you can simply walk outside your door and stumble upon something interesting. This particular property is only three blocks to Forsyth Park, plus several restaurants and shopping opportunities. Forsyth Park is one of the must-visit locations in downtown Savannah. It offers 26 acres of green space, a ton of walking trails, plus fragrant gardens and a casual cafe. The iron fountain is a great spot to get a group picture as well. Nearly everywhere in downtown Savannah is walkable, but you can also take the Old Town Trolley or the Chatham Area Transit. At the north end of Savannah, you'll find River Street, the Colonial Park Cemetery, the famous shopping area on Broughton Street and several parks and squares. Just to the south of Forsyth Park, you'll find the Savannah Victorian Historic District as well as St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church. To the west of Forsyth Park, you'll find the Laurel Grove Cemetery and several churches.

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.
