Behind the Blue Doors

When you first pull into your private parking space at Beach Daze, your first impression will be of crisp blues and whites. Take the short staircase to the blue door on the main level of your accommodations. A sun-washed solarium is your official introduction to the airy elan that permeates this incredible beach rental.

The main floor living room opens off the solarium. Once you step inside, a feeling of restful calm provides a warm welcome. Wainscotting exudes the vintage vibe of pristine New England cottages while big windows admit healthful sunlight. Sand-washed plank flooring adds beachy overtones while ample armchairs and sofa seating await you after a day outdoors. Stretch out and relax with your favorite shows on the wall-mounted TV, or swap stories of Tybee adventures as you wind down with a cooling beverage.

Step through the open archway to the galley-style kitchen where you’ll find the tools you need to create mouth-watering. We take care to fully stock each kitchen in our Tybee Island vacation homes with all the cookware and dinnerware you’ll need throughout your stay. Simply pop them into the dishwasher when you’re done, and store any leftovers in the full-sized fridge. There’s also a range-oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven for your use.

Tucked beneath the window, the sunny breakfast table accommodates early risers while the dining table provides seating for eight with window views. A full-sized washer and dryer and a convenient bathroom provide additional amenities.

Two fully furnished bedrooms feature queen-size beds while a third has a fold-up Murphy bed. The queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living rooms adds accommodations for two additional guests. A second bathroom has a glassed-in shower and stylish vessel sink.

Beach Daze boasts a lower level, too, which offers all-inclusive accommodations for four additional Tybee vacation rentals guests. A spacious, fenced-in outdoor patio provides plenty of seating in a jaunty nautical setting, and a trellised bench swing is a great place for private tete-a-tetes. The open-air dining table seats four when you’re grilling up fresh seafood.

Inside, a plush couch seats several for TV watching and doubles as a bed for two at night. A glass display cabinet filled with colorful curios provides an elegant accent, and the adjacent dining table offers seating for communal meals.

A breakfast bar with stools for two provides a window view for morning coffee while the nearby kitchen features full-sized appliances. The commercial-style stainless countertop and sink streamline cooking and cleanup so you have more time to enjoy Tybee’s incredible beaches.

The queen-sized bedroom has its own TV, beach-themed wall art and a generous closet space. There’s even a compact washer and dryer tucked into a corner nook.

A tiled walk-in shower, stainless counter for all your toiletries plus plenty of fluffy towels detail the lower-level bath. You’ll love the private, outdoor shower for rinsing off the beach sand or cool refreshment any time. Beyond the Blue Doors

When you venture out to enjoy Tybee Island attractions, you’ll fall in love with the natural landscapes. View a different vista every day of your Tybee Island rentals stay, from exploring the picturesque South Beach Pier and Pavillion to paddling the Little Tybee Island nature preserve.

Stop by or call one of Tybee’s rental shops, such as Sea Kayak Georgia, to gear up for a kayak adventure, or if you are new to the area, sign on for a guided tour. It’s just a short paddle across Back River to Little Tybee, a wonderful wildlife and birding venue accessible only by boat. Beware the changing tides, though, to avoid challenging currents.

If you prefer dry land, rent a bicycle and explore the three miles of Atlantic coastline. Mid Beach and North Beach each have their own particular charms, such as the Tybee Island Light Station and Museum on the northernmost tip of the island. Stop by Mid Beach for a relaxing swim. It’s much less crowded than other oceanfront locations.

Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

WOW! Just as beautiful as the photos, and SO clean. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants just down the block. Southern Belle was great to work with and very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
