We had an amazing time at the Desoto. The management company was incredibly kind and responsive, and ensured everything with our stay went smoothly. The property itself was great for our family of 4. We had plenty of room to spread out, including all of our beach gear. The place was clean and stocked with all essentials. The walk to the beach is very short, and the crowds on this side of the island were minimal compared to the south side. We had a great stay, and are looking forward to returning in the future.

Our stay on Tybee Island was EVERYTHING and our stay at The Desoto was perfect! The room was gorgeous and inviting. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. And that VIEW! What a surprise when we showed up to condo and found that everything had been updated from the pictures! We felt like we were at home. The elevator made it a breeze to unload. The pool was amazing and had a wonderful view, and the walk to the beach was quick. The only thing I wish is that the condo had beach chairs & umbrellas for use, like some of the others did. But this condo was very roomy and was such a pleasant place to stay!

Perfect fit for my family. My mother in law & kids had bedrooms & their own bathroom on the other side of the unit from the master. So we were able to be together but also retreat to our own space when we wanted to. The view of the beach was perfect. Can’t wait to stay again.

This condo was absolutely perfect in every way! This was our annual girls vacation to Tybee Island, four women each had our own bed, though two of us shared a room we each had our own queen size bed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with all the almost every small appliance, cookware and dishes one would need. The view from the balcony was beautiful, direct access to the beach and pool. The elevator was a bonus, it goes directly to the condo living room, the noice of the elevator for other guest was minimal. T noise at night and the dump truck at 6 am. Would definitely stay here again!!

The stay at the Desoto was more than expected. We did a family trip for a few birthdays and we left so sad to leave. The place was beautiful, the kitchen had all you needed. The pictures online do not do this place justice we thought it was Going to be smaller then it was, but with 7 people we were fine and still had room. Loved every moment there and would go back again.

This was an amazing condo to house me and my friends and just a mile up the road from the night life, a quick walk to the beach and pool! Super cute condo with pretty good views from the balcony. Beds were super comfortable and I will definitely rent this spot again!

Fantastic property! Better than expected and better than the photos show. We had ourselves along with our 2 year old daughter and a my mother (Grandma). Everybody had there own space. Grandma even had her own kitchenette and en-suite. Along with all of that was a dedicated garage parking space and direct access elevator. Unloading and loading was a breeze. It's hard to find everything that was included in this rental, with a beachfront view, at that price point. I would fully recommend to anyone looking for a beach rental in Tybee.

Our family loves staying at the Desoto. The bedroom layout is perfect for our family of 8, which includes 2 children. The extra room off of the 2nd bedroom is great for the kids to keep drinks and snacks for early morning and late night. There is plenty of cabinet space, as well as closet space. We enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the ocean and listening to the waves at night. This is our 3rd year in this unit and our 4th year at the Desoto. Looking forward to next year!!

We really enjoyed our stay, and are looking forward to coming back. This was one of the best condos in which we have stayed. We loved how peaceful and private it feels. The elevator to the room is great for loading and unloading, plus I love not having people walking outside the door. My only recommendation is the the check out instructions need to consistent between emails.I printed out the email sent the the day before check-in it said to place all trash in the trash cans. We did that. When I got home I read the email from the day of check out, it said take all trash to the dumpster. Now I feel awful about the leaving trash in the room cans.

We enjoyed our time on Tybee island. The few complaints we have are the broken tile and maintenance coming to spray for bugs while we were there. We have a toddler and it was dangerous to have cracked floor tiles and we do not allow pesticides/bug spray around him. The condo was not sound proof. You could hear neighbors and traffic from the road.

Stay was very peaceful and private. Hardly heard any pool noise or other people. My wife and I stayed with our son, his wife and 20 month old grandson. This was his first visit to a beach and the ocean and he decided to be fearless, so he had the biggest time with the ocean and the sand. That made our trip special, which was what we were hoping. If we decide to come again to Tybee Island, we will certainly arrange to stay here again.
