Offering one bedroom and one bathroom, this lovely carriage house can sleep a total of four guests in 750 square feet. Southern Elegance Carriage House also stands out in terms of what it offers for outdoor living. It has a wonderful courtyard with a heated, saltwater pool, palm trees, and outdoor fireplace. Not only do you have access to the pool in the courtyard, but also to Southern Belle's private resort style heated pool on Tybee Island located at 19 Silver Ave just steps from the beach.

The full kitchen includes a breakfast bar with seating for two while the immediately adjacent dining space has a table for two as well. Full-size and modern appliances in the kitchen help make your stay easier as you can plan meals to eat at home. The bedroom includes a king bed, and there is a sofa bed in the living room. Like many of our Savannah vacation rentals, this property also offers a washer and dryer to make a longer stay even more convenient. Southern Elegance Carriage House is steps away from one of Savannah’s best-rated coffee shops and bakeries and a short walk to the grocery store for all your last-minute needs. As this rental is right near Forsyth Park, that's one of the best places to begin your exploration of Savannah. This huge park is popular with both guests and locals and it's easy to see why. You'll find 30 acres of walking trails, playgrounds, picnic spots and gardens throughout the park. It's also a popular event place in Savannah. Many festivals and concerts are held at Forsyth Park as well as a Saturday farmer's market. One of the most photographed spots in Savannah is also here in the huge iron fountain.

Guided tours are available here, or you can simply walk through and marvel at the towering spires and striking stained glass windows. In addition to the on-site pool at this property, our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Overall

We stayed 4 nights in the Carriage House. Everything was as advertised. We loved the location as it allowed us to walk everywhere and take different paths as we explored the historic district. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it would not have been possible without these fine accommodations.
