Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

We really enjoyed our week stay at the house. The unit had everything we needed and my wife commented on how clean it was. We were able to walk to the ocean and to the large selection of restaurants near the house. We had a great stay.

My husband and I booked this unit for our anniversary. It's December at the beach, but it couldn't have been more perfect! The unit has the cutest decor and all the essentials to cook at home, roast marshmallows by the fire, and kick back and relax. We loved how close the unit is to local Tybee restaurants. We especially loved walking 2 blocks to Sting Rays. Good food and drinks! I highly recommend “Walking on Sunshine”. We will be back again!

I travel to Tybee every year for a small family reunion and I always rent my own space. Of all the homes I've rented, this one was by far my favorite. Very comfortable home with clean, modern furniture. Great kitchen and dining table. Cute outdoor space with a beautiful lawn and pecan tree. Bathroom was a little small but my partner and I didn't mind. My parents booked a house closer to the main strip that was very smelly with a tight floor plan. They booked with another Tybee rental company. If I was in their unit, I would not be able to stay they night. Highly recommend this house for a cozy couple's stay!

This was our very first family vacation and we had the most wonderful time! Not only was Tybee Island beautiful, but the home we stayed in was incredible. This was also our first time staying in a vacation home instead of a hotel and we both agreed it was the best decision we could have made. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and made sure to not only greet us but also check on us to be sure we didn't need anything. Any questions I had were promptly answered which I truly appreciated. The home itself had beautiful décor and gave us that beach feels we were really wanting. And the fact it was located just right down the street from the beach made it even better. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

It was the perfect size for my partner and I. It was clean, had all the cooking utensils we needed, and adorable! We loved the location which was close to both South Beach and Back River Beach. We also fired up the grill and enjoyed the patio. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Walking on Sunshine. It was in a great location not far from restaurants and the beach. The decor was really nice and cozy. Walking on Sunshine was very clean and well maintained. We received texts and emails from the staff checking to see if there were any maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. Of course there were none but just the fact that they asked shows that they care about their guests comfort. My family and I will definitely be returning.

Walking on Sunshine is a charming vacation spot within walking distance of the beach, bars and restaurants. The backyard is fenced in and includes both a fire pit and charcoal grill. You will feel right at home upon arriving. The kitchen is clean and modern, including everything you need. The living room is warm and inviting. The couch pulls out to a bed if you have children. Make Walking on Sunshine your vacation home for your Tybee experience...you won't be disappointed. Be sure to bring your bikes to explore Tybee! They can safely be stored in the backyard.

We had a wonderful time it is the perfect place not to small and not to big we really enjoyed it since we came down to drop off our daughter at scad for her first year walking on sunshine was the perfect place to put on minds at ease not to mention The beach and Tybee thanks again we are totally stoked

This was our first trip to Tybee and our first family vacation as a new family of 4 (with two littles) so we didn’t know what to expect and a lot went into planning our first getaway. When we arrived to the beach house, it was absolutely perfect! Extremely clean and had everything we could ever need. The decor was gorgeous and our kiddos loved it! The outdoor shower was a big plus for rinsing the sand off the kids too. We also appreciated the pool being included as we used it quite a few times and appreciated the binder that gave us all the info we needed for Tybee. Tybee is absolutely wonderful and we made many core memories with our kids on this trip and can’t wait to return. We enjoyed our daily golf cart rides and trips to Java & Juice. The town is wonderful and it couldn’t have been better. Thanks for a wonderful trip and we will see you soon!
