Whitfield Square

This beautiful 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located deep in the historic district at Whitfield Square on Habersham Street and is perfect for large groups looking for a great vacation rental within walking distance to many historical landmarks and restaurants in Savannah. Surrounded by majestic live oaks dripping with moss, this home features a great wrap around porch perfect for late evening cocktails, morning coffee, just hanging out and reading the Sunday paper, or watching one of the weddings happening in Whitfield Square. Whitfield Square is also a great place to lay out and catch some rays, or enjoy a picnic with the family on a lazy afternoon.

As you enter the home, on the right you'll see a large living from with seating for 12, a 60 inch flatscreen TV, beautiful chandelier, and intricate details & accents throughout the room include decorative fireplaces and drapes across the many floor-to-ceiling windows this home has to boast of, all offering a cornucopia of natural light. A half bath is just off the hall for freshening up.

The gourmet kitchen just outside the bedroom features stainless steel appliances and comes with everything you need to cook a great meal while in Savannah including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, four-burner range, coffee maker, blender, and chef's island with 2 bar stools. Just across from the kitchen is the room the makes this home every entertainer's dream - the game room. The game room features a large pool table, 2 bar tables with chairs, a decorative fireplace, and a flat screen TV, making this home the perfect place for the guys to catch the game! Down from the kitchen is the dining room with seating for 8 and a flatscreen TV for catching Saturday morning cartoons.

The bedroom on this level also offers plenty of natural lighting as well as access to the wrap around porch. A comfy Queen sized bed awaits the wearied traveler's slumber, and the room is equipped with a flat screen TV, dresser, and decorative fireplace. Upstairs, you'll find the rest of the lovely bedrooms this home has to offer. The first bedroom can be used as a Master suite and has several large windows, a King sized bed, dresser, flatscreen TV, and a private, full bath with an intricately detailed sink and a clear, glass shower.

The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, armoire as well as a dresser, flatscreen TV, and a decorative fireplace. The third bedroom has a Queen sized bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, armoire as well as a dresser, flatscreen TV, and a decorative fireplace. The fourth bedroom has a Queen sized bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, a closet as well as a dresser, and a flatscreen TV. In the hall, there is a shared, full bath for all 3 bedrooms that has a glass shower. The fifth bedroom can be used as yet another Master suite. It has a King sized bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, armoire as well as a dresser, flatscreen TV, a decorative fireplace, and a full bath with a shower/tub combo, as well as a sun deck just off the bath.

For your comfort, ALL 6 guest rooms include brand new, super comfortable, Sealy Posturepedic Pillow-top mattresses with luxury hotel-quality linens and towels, assorted pillows, plus dressers or chests and individually controlled ceiling fans.

Down from the kitchen is the dining room with seating for 8 and a flatscreen TV for catching Saturday morning cartoons. Step outside, and you`ll find an outdoor patio area with a table for 4 and an umbrella to bring in the shade.

The house is literally steps from everything Savannah has to offer. You will be hard-pressed to find anything else as large and conveniently located as Whitfield Square. Here's just a sampling of nearby attractions below!

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets
This property is not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a dog, ask us about our pet-friendly properties that accommodate up to 2 dogs (50 lb combined weight max) for a $130 pet fee.

Long-Term Stays

We five seniors who had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and the description was exactly as described. The communication from the team was outstanding, the best we have ever had for a VRBO. Whitfield Square was the perfect house for our trip. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us to spread out, all of the appliances worked perfectly, the house was clean, and Southern Belle checked on us multiple times to make sure our stay was going well. I would book this house, or just with Southern Belle again!

Beautiful home, very clean and very spacious for our group of 5 couples. Management team very good to work with. Checked on us during our stay to insure we had everything we needed. We had a few small things that needed addressed and they were very quick to send somebody out to take of them. One of our party left some items and the management team sent someone to retrieve the items and quickly took care of getting them returned. The Airbnb was big and beautiful! There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. There was a steamer in the house which was a plus. All the beds were so comfy and the fireplaces in each room made it so quant. The lockbox is a great asset! The porches were so nice and it was walking distance from mostly everything! Thank you!

The home is spacious, clean and well cared for. It has all the southern charm nestled in a cute neighborhood. We even got to watch 2 weddings in the park across the street ! Our extended Alabama/Ohio family had an unforgettable time in Savannah thanks much to staying here at Whitfield Square! Exactly as pictured in advertisements, within walking distance of everything in the historic district, clean and well stocked, and GORGEOUS! Southern Belle was incredibly responsive and kind any time we emailed or texted them. The river was only a 20 minute walk! There were 11 of us and we had no trouble with bathroom sharing or places to gather. Perfect for us...would do it again. Might reconsider going day after Christmas though. BUSY BUSY week in Savannah!

There were a couple of minor things that were address promptly at the beginning of our stay, and we would recommend this home without hesitation. The home is large, beautiful and clean. Rented the house with four girl friends for a Savannah get away. The house was perfect. Beautifully decorated and conveniently located. The property has a small backyard with a grill. We did not use but, it was nice that it was actually. We only stayed 3 nights so, We had enough shampoo, soap, paper products and towels to cover our stay. If you stay longer the house has a nice washer/dryer and Kroger is a fair walk or a short drive away. We had two cars. Parking was never a problem. I highly recommend this house and SBR for your next visit to Savannah

Whitfield Square did not disappoint! 12 adults visited BEAUTIFUL Savannah for a 50th Birthday celebration, and our accommodations were wonderful! The home is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. Everything worked perfectly. It was very conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do! Also, the pool was wonderful! All 12 of us (from another "City of the South" - Mobile, AL) highly recommend Whitfield Square AND Southern Belle. We only had to contact them about minor things a couple times, and they were prompt and very helpful. We will definitely be returning to Savannah and calling Southern Belle to find our accommodations!

This home is located within walking distance of restaurants, a grocery store (Kroger), and historic homes. The home is beautiful and large enough to accommodate 12-adults comfortably. Two rooms have a full-bath, there's an additional full-bath in the upstairs hall and half-bath downstairs. There is also a game-room with pool table and board games that was the center of our nights. The dining room has a table that seats eight.The host was awesome. We had a minor issue (toaster not functioning) and they replaced it immediately. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Beautiful well maintained home in the historic district. We could walk to most things, and with the heat loved the use of the pool on TyBee Island. We appreciated the start up supplies, and the 2 offstreet parking places. Good beds, plenty of bathrooms, great kitchen, and fun to have the pool table. It was a fantastic home for us!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this house! I stayed here for my bachelorette party with 11 other girls and every single person was raving about how beautiful and perfect the house was. It is SO spacious and beautifully decorated. I would recommend to anyone visiting Savannah with a large group! It was also extremely clean and had everything we needed. Southern Belle was also great with customer service and reached out to us during our stay to make sure everything was going well and there were no issues with the house (even though we had no issues to report!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time at the Whitfield. The weather could have been warmer, but since the majority of us were from the north, we were able to deal. We were able to walk where ever we wanted to go which was good. We were able to walk off the great food we ate. The only suggestion I have is to add a couple more dish towels in the kitchen. One just doesn't do it.

Beautiful property and excellent location. Walking distance lots of different activities and a short 23 minute drive to the beach. Made for a wonderful vacation with the family and no one was ever board. Air conditioning worked great for those who will want to know. Highly recommend, we will definitely return again.

Our stay was fantastic. The home was comfortable and welcoming. The amenities where great. Whitfield Square home was impeccable. Very clean and well decorated. But it is the LOCATION that made the trip. The porch was a meet and greet. We met many neighbors who live in Savannah. Our group would spend hours just chilling on the porch. The square was active too. We saw a wedding and a confirmation (?). On Saturday morning we woke to the smell of blooming magnolia! We had a very busy itinerary and having our Whitfield home to return to was a dream. Whether it be early morning coffee, or afternoon cocktails and conversation, the porch was the place to be. As much as we loved the porch, our home was easily accessible to many points of interest. Looking forward to returning.

The house was beautiful and located in the heart of the historic area. We had 12 adults in the house and was large enough that we were not crowded and had plenty of room. Every place was in walking distance from the house. All places we ate were good and enjoyable. The grocery store was also walking distant from the house. The house on Whitefield Square is amazing! We had a "Golden Girls reunion" with four of us and had such a great time playing pool and sitting on the front porch. The home is huge and filled with a modern yet somewhat back in time feeling. The perfect mix in décor to make it very warm and welcoming. Every inch of the house was spotless. Thank you to the owners for sharing their incredible home. Memories were made that will last a lifetime.

This is our first time booking a vacation home rental. It was a fabulous experience from start to finish. We had 6 bedrooms, which was plenty for our group of 12. Our ages ranged from 15-72, and all had fun. The home was beautifully appointed and well-stocked. The comfort features, including the nice beds and wifi, were the icing on the cake.

Because of all the monetized options and transactions southern bell offeres (eg. Wifi insurance, $100/hr check-in changes) I was worried the company was going to try to nickel and dime me once we got in the property. I'm glad to say that didn't happen. In fact they did not bother us at all. The house was spectacular, contributing to a great weekend.

Overall

The house was in a great central location...which made our stay convenient. The house was beautiful, but with the comforts of home, which made everyone enjoying their stay. I will definitely work with Southern Belle rentals on my future trips to Savannah

The property was absolutely incredible. The most compliments that I received from my guests were about the beds and pillows. Those beds were so comfortable and everyone slept very well. I loved the atmosphere and the decor and everything about the property. Savannah is such a beautiful place... thank you for a memorable experience.
