Savannah has a long thought provoking and even sometimes comical history. That's why it has long been a perfect vacation destination for the entire family. Small children love the beaches and watching the huge boats going up and down the Savannah River. Haunted tours delight school age children and adults alike. Couples love the carriage rides and walking down romantic streets.

History buffs enjoy the museums, landmarks, and old restored homes. High school seniors flock here every year to tour the colleges and universities. The natural beauty of the garden like squares and tall oaks have caused many a bride and groom to plan their wedding here. No matter the holiday or occasion, a vacation rental in Savannah will serve your needs while making you a part of Savannah's vibrant history.

The Olde Pink House is one of my favorites. You'll find the portions to be large, the pricing to be fair, and the service to be great.

vic on the river in savannah ga

My favorite place to sit at Vic's is in the bar area which isn't like most bars. There's a piano player and large windows on the far side of the bar with high top tables.
