Are you planning beach vacation this summer? We’re making it as simple as possible for you.

Pick the Perfect Digs

Staying in a comfortable, well-equipped vacation rental in close proximity to all the amenities is the No. 1 way to ensure a perfect beach vacation. Of course, you don’t want to break the bank, either. Fortunately, we have fantastic selections for your Tybee Island stay.

Pack Light

You’re going to spend most of your time in the sand, so you don’t need much. A swimsuit, shorts and T-shirts, flip flops, and PJs ought to do it. Oh, and your toothbrush.

Claim Your Beach

Select from several spots on Tybee Island. Want to be close to shops and restaurants? Head to South Beach. Prefer a quiet, out-of-the-way spot? Back River Beach is calling your name. How about an oceanfront beach with smaller crowds? Plant yourself at Mid-Beach. Enjoy beachcombing and shell collecting? North Beach is your spot.

Rent the Beach Gear

Leave the beach gear at home. Rent chairs and umbrellas from Burke’s Beach Rentals, Inc.  They set up and take down lounges, so you don’t have to tote it to the beach. Rent by the day or week.

Stock the Kitchen

The Tybee Market IGA offers grocery delivery to the door of your beach house. They’ll even arrange to have the fridge and pantry stocked before your arrival. After soaking in the sun, it’s wonderful to relax at your rental property and prepare a meal with the family.

Travel by Bike

Park the car and get around Tybee Island on two wheels with Tim’s Bike & Beach Gear.

Dine Out

For when you do want to don the shorts and go to town, you’ll discover plenty of restaurants offering delicious seafood and spectacular views. Prefer something else? Chow down on Mexican food at Agave Bar and Grill or hit up the local pizza and burger joints.

Book a Dolphin Tour

For kids (of all ages), spotting a dolphin in the wild is a summer vacation highlight. Book an excursion with one of the local charters to watch these playful creatures up close.

Safety First

Don’t forget the sunscreen, hat, and shades. Trust us on this. Especially the sunscreen.

Take it Easy

Once you’ve arrived at your beach vacation rental, kick back on a deck facing the ocean. Splash in the property’s pool. Relax because you’re on island time now.
